Dr. Lilli Link Talks About Nutrition and an Anti-Inflammatory Diet

Lilli Link, MD, MS, who grew up and was educated in White Plains, NY, graduated from the University of Chicago Medical School and completed her residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Link earned an MS in epidemiology while a fellow at Cornell Medical College, and then did a second fellowship in cancer epidemiology at Columbia University's School of Public Health. During these fellowships she led and published the results of two studies that evaluated the relationship between cancer, behavior change, and diet. She is a board certified internist and currently practices as a nutritional counselor in New York City. Her passion and knowledge of the subject began after her own cancer diagnosis in 1998, at the age of 31. Dr. Link is uniquely qualified to counsel her patients in optimizing their health by helping them to alter or adjust their diet and lifestyle. Through her medical knowledge, complementary training, and personal experience, she has acquired a unique perspective regarding the problem of “inflammatory” foods and the creation of a healthier lifetime regimen for her patients.
